Today is September 9th, 2018:
This last week was my first full week of school here in Hungary, and I can genuinely say that I have enjoyed every last minute of the school. The first day felt like freshman year all over again, but as the day continued, I felt like I belonged in that school, and so did Derek and Maria. We all absolutely love this school. Towards the end of the week I have talked to a lot of my classmates and because good friends with them. It is such a blessing that the students in my class can all, for the most part, speak English. Hungarian is such a hard language and the students enjoy practicing their English, so its a nice trade off, that they teach me Hungarian and that I practice their English with them! I am truly feeling like an exchange student now that school has started, and I really enjoy having some structure to my day. School is such a big part of an exchange, and if you're not having a good time at school, more than likely your exchange will indeed fail.
