Today is May 10th, 2018:
-Today was a pretty uneventful day to say the least. It is absolutely gorgeous outside tho. I am sitting in the back of Mrs. Haines' room, the teacher who I service work for, and all that I can see is the sun shining in on the freshmen. The sky is sooo stinkin blue. It makes me wanna walk out of school and just sit on my porch and eat a Popsicle. Today was the AP Government and Politics exam. That test was a literal piece of cake, hopefully my test results show the same. I am still unaware where I will be staying at for a year. I haven't even had contact from my Rotary Club. I followed the Hungarian Rotary Club on Instagram and they followed me back, so theres a plus. I am just trying to make it through these last 15 days of senior year. I just cannot believe how fast time has gone by. It feels like just yesterday I was the little freshmen, that was in marching band and couldn't see anything because he was reluctant to get glasses. Ahhhhh.... those were the days. I'm starting to get anxious about leaving all of my friends. I knew that I was going to leave them for college , but I didn't know that I was going to leave them for a year, and 5,000 miles away in Hungary.
There is one little saying that has been stuck in my head since our last December conference is: "Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape." I have been thinking about that lately, because I feel like the last one to get information, or even who my host family is or where I'm living. But I keep repeating that quote, and realize that sooner or later I will know.
-ALSOOO, I got some information from TZELL, about certain requirements by Hungary, and man o man are they confusing as heck.......
Well, until next time, thank you for reading, and coming along with me on this journey. I appreciate all of you that take time out of your day to stop and read my blog.
KÖSZÖNÖM!! (THANKS)
